presidential dollar subscriptions from the mint?

i have never had a subscription from the mint, and after searching around, i could not find any information regarding one for the upcoming dollars. will this be available after they are on sale? can you set it up to purchase one or more of an item? lastly, is this even worth it, that is, will i be just as successful purchasing the items i want without pursuing the subscription?

If it is just the presidential dollar you are looking for you will be able to get them at your local bank a roll at a time or as many as you wont.

Think the bags and rolls of UNCs will still go on on the 15th...

That edge lettering is tiny, I now see why they are having issues....

 

The subscriptions will allow you to specify how many sets you want. The convenience is that you don't have to worry about forgetting to order. I've had subscriptions for a long time, and they are easy to set up. The option for the dollar just won't be available til the 15th at noon.

yes, i did notice "spring." given all the quality information you have provided here, late april it is. i suppose i will have to be happy with a few rolls from my bank.

I think I'm gonna get 5-10 Proof sets and 2 rolls of each (P &D) then a few of this years mint sets...

I'd like to have a bag just because I've never had a unopened bag of Dollars, but I don't want to pay that much over face just to get a bag....

Where did you see that? The mint web site doesn't say anything about subscriptions for the presidential dollars. I'm also interested in a subscription for rolls like they currently have for state quarters.

 

Just got 4 rolls of Phila Wash Dollars

Just went to my local PNC Bank and asked when the Montana Quarters would be in. The teller told me a couple weeks, I said did you hear anything about the new dollars yet. She said how many rolls you want
BINGO I will take 4 please

She told me she was not to give them out until the 15 th but said oh well and gave me 4

Good score! My bank is taking a hard line.
"They're not in circulation today".
But she was willing to save 2 rolls for me to pick up on Friday.

My bank is getting only 40 rolls. I think they're going to be gone quickly.

On another thread you had mentioned that banks will only receive rolls of 25 Presidential coins from the mint, no bags. Is that true or did I misunderstood?

I only posted what the Fed said on there web site but the teller at my bank only had 6 rolls left and I got 4 of them I asked her if she had to get 1,000 worth she said no. I fig she must have had 500.00 worth all rolls

called 20 banks in my area only found 2 that would have them tommorow. i am not an account holder so i am not even sure if i be able to get them.

 

Is it better to take the coins out of the paper wrap or leave them ?

 

i plan on doing both some in rolls some to be free
