This 1921 is probably my best Morgan coin. I have studied my Redbook and looked at more and more detail on coins. I hope I am ready for the show on Saturday.
I believe this coin to be AU50, only because the higher grades say "No trace of wear" and this eagle has slight wear on his breast. None on the wing tips however. I'd sure like it to be a MS64 though.

What would you "old hands" give it?

Oh, the focus is off and you can't see the liberty on the band, or the top of her head, but all is bold with no wear.

The photo has the appearance of a NICE AU coin. Show it to some of the dealers at the show & let us kow what they say about it.
    Very best regards,

I would say AU-50 would be right. Without seeing better pics, I wouldn't go higher than that. Pictures showing the entire coin straight on might help determine the wear on high points, clash marks on the obverse and the overall eye appeal of the coin.

I'll say AU also, 53ish, maybe a 55, but I could be off. Nice coin, and best of luck at the show! :thumb:
