I always see people selling wheat back pennies by the pounds. I was wondering what are some of the coolest things that you have found in either a roll of wheat backs, or in a pound or more of wheat backs. and how many 1909 vdb cents have you found? can be p or s mint

I got a well worn 19?4-D that you can make out most of the third 3 but cant be 100% sure its a 1 because the corrosion on it is bad. I know it is one because of the group it was in was all 1920 or older but I cant sell it as one.

yea, I've suckkered into these and been disappointed. I did find an old 1755 copper French coin one time in a wheat lot. Also one so worn that you could barely tell it was a coin, probably 1800's ish British coin of some sort.
But overall, I would have done FAR better to just pick up a few quality wheats from a good dealer like PenneyLady. She rocks. or your local shop or coin show.
