    1) What symbolic feature was originally intended to be grasped by the eagles talons on the reverse of the Peace Dollar before being quickly replaced by an olive branch?

    2) Which mint employee manually retouched the hub to make this change?

    Honestly, remember reading this over 50 years ago when doing the Merit Badge for Boy Scouts.
