As you all know, CT members can post to the OPEN forum if you want to sell something. I've been an active member here for just a little over a year and it's relatively inactive and the ads are not really that good. And THEN...... Yesterday, (Wednesday), Rotobeast posted a bunch of Morgans for sale. Nice, clear, focused pictures, long descriptions of the coins and GUESS WHAT - you didn't have to take out a second mortgage to buy them - heck a couple were under $30. I take my hat off to Rotobeast. I really ain't got any money right now, but if I did, I'd probably buy one of those coins even though I don't "do" Morgans. It'd be nice if future posters could provide the nice photos/info that Rotobeast has done. Kudos. P.S. I know others have posted nice ads - it's just that this one really impressed me. and I have nothing to do with rotobeast. I probably wouldn't like him if I met him!!!!!

The problem is the term OPEN FORUM. On many other web sites that indicates you can post items like your dogs illness, how you got a flat tire, what you'ld like to do to your mother-in-law. The title of this type of forum should be COINS FOR SALE or PURCHASE. NOT OPEN FORUM. I've wouldn't go there since it does not sound like a sale or purchase forum. And if I wahted to talk about my neighbors drinking problems, I'd go there and see that is not the place for it and then just go join my neighbor.
I do whole-heartedly agree with you Carl. I would have named it "Trade Forum". But, we should be thankful that Peter allows us the option. He is nice enough to let his members make a $, without asking for a cut. Hats off to Peter !
