I couldn’t wait for the 25th so I bought myself an advance Christmas gift. I got a set of uncirculated Greenland coins all slabbed by NGC. These are the seller’s pictures. The coins arrived this week. Christmas came early for me this year.

Some of you will be ticked at me for "going back on my retirement"..
I didn't.

These numismatic presents were purchased by me PRE retirement and/or by friends and family.

 

I imagine this thread'll heat up in the next couple o' days.....

I didn't order this with Xmas in mind, but it just arrived in the mail.
"The Flying Eagle and Indian Cent Attribution Guide 1890-1909" by Richard E. Snow.
That completes the guide for me.

 

I was hoping for a few proof ASEs, but Grandma, (me mum), got me a Ruger 375 Safari rifle, so I'm not complaining. lol Anybody got $50K to go to Africa? lol

 

Went to Africa this past March.
Anytime we went into the bush the guide carried a 375.
Apparently the caliber of choice.

 

I hope to get there one day. It's fun to daydream about. Darn coins use up my money though. lol
