There aren't many rules to this thread, it can be a perty coin! See below.
It can be a variety, an error, even if it is minor, or just a coin you want to share. I would rather it be raw if possible, but all coins apply. Just new finds.
    Any denomination, token.
Here is a nice target toned Lincoln I found in and old Lincoln holder.
Large Date, would you call it RB or BN. I am at MS62 or so.
I removed a bunch of white glue from the reverse.

Here is a steel cent with nice original surfaces. I don't know how long I've had this coin but recently came to look at it out of bordom I guess. I don't remember ever finding a wheat cent with such pronounced die clash on the reverse. So that makes it a bit special to me. 20240913_231822.jpg 20240913_231920.jpg

The obverse has a indent at Abes neck from the "N" of CENT.

The reverse has lines that shows the nape of Abe's neck at the "C"
and a line from his throat/bow tie between the "N" and "E".

It also has a noticable Accidental Die Abrasion above the left wheat stalk
and above the "E" of ONE which is an indicator of original surfaces. 20240913_232316.jpg 20240913_232309.jpg

I had no Idea that they were doing a star as a privy mark. What did that set you back @Millard

Neither did I. This is the first year and they've only been out a few weeks. I got mine from a club member at our monthly meeting. He had 2 @ $70 each. I got one. Looks like they're going for around that price on ebay for ms69. The ms70's are a bit more. Its a Bullion coin, no mintmark but at those numbers (50k) it contributes to the set to have one I'd think. NGC says they've only graded 3570 at ms69 and 9600 at ms70. If they don't catch on and continue making them in coming years they'll be even more rare.

Had an interesting day today at a coin shop up north, I went by years ago and saw that the shop had closed down. It popped up on my Google as I was heading to another shop north of me. Called and they said they were open. Stopped in most everything was out of my price range. But found one keeper for sure. This Civil war token. Numista says it is common, this is the first time I have seen the clash and Rim to Rim die crack.
