Post Your Indian Head Eagle

    image.jpg image.jpg Hopefully this is not a repeat. If so, apologies. The Indian Head Eagle might very well be America's finest looking coin. The designer, Augustus Saint-Gaudens, unfortunately died before production began in 1907. Should you travel to New England, the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, New Hampshire is a worthwhile stop.

    I like these better than the Double Eagles , though both are beautifully designed coins .

    I didn't know that some Indian Head Eagles circulated so extensive....real money and not taken fresh out of the bank vault after storing a long long time.....:)
