In the true spirit of fireworks, the coins displayed at the beginning of the thread should be nice but pale in comparison to those posted at the grand finally. Therefore, I will start off rather slow.

 

You know the fireworks they launch into the air and nothing happens (see photo above). Gonna a need a good one to get the show back on track.

 

Paul, the post above your's was a good attempt by a YN (post #10), and kind of reminded me of that thudding boom one hears before the color burst overhead (post #11).
