Post Mint dime damage?

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by peachymargarita, Feb 18, 2007.

  1. My gut tells me post mint, but it looks so neat. First pic shows reeding pushed back over the Y in liberty. The reeding seems to not be damaged by this shift. The second pic shows the same thing right above the date. This side however looks like someone tapped it with a hammer. No other damage to the coin.

    Let's have it.

Looks like it got between something that pressed it (a rock and a hard place). Looks post mint to me.

Might even be a very, very, very early stage spoon job.
