Post damage?

    I'm assuming this was post damage. I'm guessing it has to do with either sand or water damage of sorts at high pressures?

    Just would like your guys inputs to this odd damage. THanx

    Very Interesting. Looks from here like there is an actual build "UP" on the coin. I would think that a sand blaster or water would take metal away from the coin?

    I'd say it did take metal away from the coin since the rim is all but gone on half of it. I'd guess the coin was in an acid solution.

    If you want to know for sure - weigh it.

    this side here does show signs of an acid bath. It's somewhat interesting that the above photo makes the 8 look filled in on the top hole
