Thought this might be worthwhile...I'll start with this "Buy It Now or Make Offer" The PCGS Price Guide Value is $200.00 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-PCGS-M...435069?hash=item3d004398bd:g:wYsAAOSwHnFVxhpc http://www.pcgs.com/cert/32628200
stupid listing. I could list Bust half $ stupid prices, but it would take pages. But, I'll look. Great thread
And the seller just took 15% off! I'm watching this one to see what sucker falls for this junk! http://www.ebay.com/itm/191475000156?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
That's nuthin. This guy wants 68k for a bunch of worthless Chinese charms... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ancient-Chi...517609?hash=item2a5dee30e9:g:arYAAOSwstxU~JXb
He must think gold tone colored actually means made out of gold, and even if one were to erroneously assume that, they are still overpriced
Is the Cherrios thing a special variety like the Cherrios Sacagaweas? I think I'd settle for a non-Cherrios MS67+ RD... PCGS's price guide has those at $9. I don't think being in a cereal box justifies the extra $2490!
If you guys don't mind the fact that they are ancient coins, I could post some outrageous ancient coin sales on Ebay. The whose site is infested with $10-$20 common Roman Bronzes being sold for $150-$200, and $60 denarii being sold for $400-$1,000
Yes, for the same reason. There are 58 of them on Ebay right now, including another PCGS MS67 Red for $500 (which is still excessive).
Bring 'em on! P.T. Barnum would flourish in these times as well. Now days with the net, resource books and unlimited info available to anyone, seems like folks would do some research before throwing away big bucks.

This Aquila Severa denarius is indeed very uncommon, going on average in recent auctions for around $250 - $300 USD. Mix Ebay in and it becomes a $4,500 coin http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aquilia-Sev...018408?hash=item51dbfb1da8:g:kAsAAOSwLzdWTXG1
