I don't think there's a "post your ikes" thread like the morgan or toner one... If so let's bring it back to life, if not let's get this party started! This will be an ongoing thread to show off your ikes, old or newp's. Let's see em.

I'll start with this, my second complete dansco. Paid a whopping $80 for it from my lcs owner buddy who gives me great deals due to our friendship. He called me up and said to come by with 80 bucks. I said why and he said shut up and get over here :)

Now, let's see em boys. I want this to be a 100+ page thread by Christmas!

Ikes are at the other end of the planet from my collecting interests, but I'd be proud to own those. Some of the best I've ever seen! Money costs money! [emoji6]

We need to collect cheaper things... like cars...

I started out just wanting to put together a basic clad set searched from bags, which all my clad circulation strikes except '73s are, then I got the bug! Still looking for the '72 Type 2 to "complete" my set... or the FEV... or the...

No toners here, I love that they look just like I remember them back then!

    1972 S 40% Obverse
    IDDDO-27 New IDDDR-WH- IDDP-25

    Cross Reference:

    Attributed by: IDDD Thomas Kalantzis.

Class: Obverse Class II Doubling and tripling on IGWT. Quintupled 2 in date. TDO seems to be from a Master, however.

    Submitted by: Steve Palladino.

Obverse Description:NewClass II Tripling seen on most letters of IGWT. The dies spread looks wide however because of the stage a die state it is actually tripled. The 2 in date shows signs of quintupling. Doubling on 197 in date. CW tripling seen on LIBERTY. CW and CCW on the E of LIBERTY. Also shows a secondary movement on the E of LIBERTY. The 2 in date has multiple split serifs. Interesting the differences on this die compared to the FS 101 is seen on the E of LIBERTY at 11 o'clock and the 2 in date at 5 o'clock.

Reverse Description: CCW spread seen on one dollar - right side AR. This die is in a lazy die state due to die wear.

Marker: Obverse in EMDS stage B. Die scratch lower 9 in date, a small die gouge seen on the left upper left inside of the upper loop. Die crack above and to the right of the E of we, and close to neck. Small eye scratch in the form of an X (See pictures below) Obverse MDS. The X marker in the eye area disappears in stage C MDS.

    Date Recorded: 11/12/2012

    POPULATION: 2.

Comments: The 2 in date is hubbed into the die, and is quintupled at the bottom of the loop on the left side. So far to date that loop on the 2 is seen with no doubling to quadrupling. The IDDD-027 has the 2 quintupled. The E of LIBERTY shows a CW and CCW spread. A very interesting die. UN-common. More work needs to be done on this die.

For both Anacs 4942362 and PCGS 18232250. Obverse stage B in EMDS, a second coin, raw, in stage C in MDS abraded.

Tripled class II IGWT W/CW tripling on LIBERTY, to date is different then other tripled dies recorded. The die was abraded.
