Post a Favorite Coin

I was going to say, "Post an old coin," but I was afraid everyone would be afraid to post a coin that wasn't as old as one posted previously, so I just said, "Post a favorite coin." I bought this half dollar yesterday. It's now my oldest silver coin.

My favorite coin in my collection

 

My favorite coin is a mere 14 years old, came from a Mint bag, is one of only two known for the date/mintmark and cost me a whopping 68c.

Pretty sure I posted this one in the Bust Half thread, but I just love the luster on this one......

 

Here's my one and only Classic Gold Coins from 1836. Probably my most favorite, I'd have to look at all my coins all at once to decide and I don't think that'll ever happen.

 

I'll trade you my 1829 half dollar for yours. What's the grade on that?

 

It's a rattler MS63.

 

Nope! It was one of my freebies with the purchase of my NGC membership. I didn't even pay shipping and insurance because that was at a time when I was permitted to deliver and pick up my submissions in person at the NGC office in Sarasota.

I didn't used to like Barbers, but they've grown on me. They were the coins of my grandparents.

 

This is probably my favorite purchase off eBay. It's not fancy, but it's distinct and I like it. Please ignore all the slab scratches; I'll take those off someday... @Bob Bennett
