Most coin collectors I know have some very nice coins from their birth year. Post a coin from your birth year. This is a post that can keep on giving as most coin collectors seem to have more than one coin from their birth year, so only post one coin at a time, but feel free to post others later on... say a day (or more) between posts. I was born in 1958, so...

My birth year coins are too modern so i dont really have one besides a lincoln cent in an album. Unless someone wants to give me a 1992 close AM cent lol

Not mine. But I'd love to find a nicely toned ASE from my birth year.

I have seen so many nice looking 1947 Walkers posted over the years that I'm too jealous to ever want to try to find one.

Posted before, but what the heck!
@Skyman, you could also have people post their parents' birth year!
Edit: Now I see you wanted just one at a time! :banghead: The set comes as a group, so I have only posted one set. Let's say it's merely a context for the half dollar!

No problem Markus1959 you were conceived in 1958 so we'll give you this one, as long as your birthday is before September ....if not we'll you screwed up :)

Boy by the skin of your teeth.... After checking our records you missed a major screw up by 42 days!

I only have a Dime, Nickel and Cent minted with my birth year. I feel jipped by the mint because of the Bi-Centennial.

Seems to me in 1976 quarters ,half's and dollars were minted. Now that was my 3 year of college which was the year I remember the most of the 4!

Bingo!! My brother was born in '76 and I was born in '75. The 1975 Mint set's came with 1976 dated quarters, halves and dollars. I remember being upset as a kid that my birth year set had coins with my brother's birth year. LOL
