Possibly 1997 doubled die ear??

    image.jpg image.jpg Appears to be a doubling of the ear lobe. I've seen other pictures of the same thing I'm seeing, on 1997 doubled die ear lobe.

    Looks like a doubled ear to me.

    I've been looking at way to many pennies. This is the only 97 that I've seen like this. Looks like I may have found a good DD penny?!?

    Got a little excited when I was told it looked doubled by one person on here, that I decided to post a thread about it being one. We all make mistakes, we are human. But thanks for helping.

I know it's hard to see but you can see markings in the R on the reverse. There is a mark between the D and W, tried getting a good picture of it. I know it doesn't match what's on coppercoins or the other sights. Maybe a variety?? image.jpg
