Possible smudge?

  1. Hi so im a coin guy (not sure about paper money)is this a thing if the seal having a smudge and if so how to know if its a real smudge or if its from something else 20231122_040050.jpg

    It’s something else. I’ve seen legitimate green smears before and it never bleeds through to the back.

    Judging by the picture, the "smear" color does not match the seal color. That is a stain of some sort. It did not leave the BEP that way.

    I have seen similar staining before myself and always wondered if it might be due to a bad wiper blade on the cylinder. I know it's not the right color but I have done similar mixing of ink in my prior business to get the ink the right color and viscosity. Any chance this one just got away from the inspection process?

    I'd call it a PDM just looks like green Sharpie

    Looks allot darker to me, so agree with
