View attachment 297837 I'm relatively new to paper money, so I'm not sure what qualifies and I would like to learn. The six is like that on both serial numbers. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
A little extra ink. No additional value over $1. Wouldn't consider it a true error and is most likely common to find among brand new BEP packs.
I thought it was just some bleeding of the ink, but the shape of the six is exactly the same on both serial numbers. I will probably just hang on to it anyway, it is in really good shape and the six being a little off is still kind of cool. Thank you vdbpenny for your response.
It is interesting, however. Because both 6's are over-inked. We had this discussion here in the past and we couldn't get a good answer from the BEP. They claimed discussing it would give away trade secrets. The question is why would both 6's be over-inked? This seems to be the case with all notes that have one or more digits over- or under-inked, where both sides are affected.
