Possible Mint errors '21 Morgan '81 dime '94 dime

    As mentioned in another thread, Ive been going through my dads old coin collection.

    The 1981 (I guess that's a "1"), looks like it was struck really hard. It has a very prominent rim and is smooth on the side. Ive no idea what you call that - double struck? And I've no idea if it has any value.

    The morgan dollar and the 94 dime I'm asking about because of their color. Both seem to have a tone or a sheen different from other similar coins. It doesnt really show up that great in the pics but the dime has a sort of blueish/purpleish sheen. The morgan has a bluish sheen in the background that turns to purple in areas. These remind me of the sheen petroleum chemicals will cause on water surfaces. I don't know if this is from some environmental contact or from the mint or if it changes the value.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

    The dime is spooned/dryer coin.
    It didn't come from the mint that way.
    It's only worth ten cents.

    The Morgan has tarnish spots on it which is normal.
