Picked this up with some other Ike's at the bank today I know its probably not a PO-1, what do you guys think though, FR-02 maybe? Worth having slabbed? I don't know much about lowballs. Thanks!

How do these lowballs "form" anyway? I can't see a ike getting circulated enough to turn out like this.

    FR2 sounds reasonable.

    How do they come about?

Since these coins are harder than the Supermans abs, I'd think that having a decent grease filled die coin which got repeatedly dropped into a slot machine (to wear down the rims) followed by some casual pocket wear would do the trick.

Take notice on your coin how the areas of least wear still have a rim while those areas that do not have a rim show the most wear. The rims are the key as it takes years upon years to wear these copper nickel coins downm in your pocket. They are just that durable and hard! Sometimes, they come out looking better than when they went in!
