While I was roll searching (first time ever, loved it!) I came across two quarters that I believe could have potential cuds. They're small, so I'm expecting them to be worthless (if they even are cuds). Since I'm definitely no expert on cuds, I would like some opinions from others. Are these two spots on these two separate quarters cuds? If not, could you possibly explain what they are?
They look more like rim nicks/dings. Look at the edge and if there is any impression in the reeding, then this carries over as a nick. A retained cud/die break won't have those nicks/dents on the edge.
