I'm trying to see if my coin matches the pictures of the 1995 D WDDO-004 http://doubleddie.com/506234.html . The description is a very close spread north most prominent of "LIBE" in "Liberty." The "B" in "Liberty" is the main point of focus, but the "I" also looks very similar. The coin is too circulated to identify the small die markers provided. Input is appreciated and yes, I know that even if it were a doubled die, it's very minor and pretty much worthless, but please humor me because I enjoy searching and finding this stuff.
Did you look at the listing? There is no notching due to its only slight north spread. The B just looks funky to me and matches the photo
Oh, I see, you had a link in there, I'm sorry. But no, I didn't, and bear with me when I tell you why. Even if Wexler says it's doubled, it's not anything I'd collect. I'm just not a fan of these so insignificant you can't see them without instrumentation. Put another way, we collect what we want, and they're not what I want.
Yeah, I know it's very minor, but I enjoy the hunt and accept what I get. Makes the hunt more interesting and keeps me motivated between larger finds.
I’m not seeing it. Can you match any die markers from VV, CC, or Wexlers? Full pictures, not thumbnails, and full cropped obverse and reverse pictures would help.
Even worn, this should be detectable. It looks like a normal cent to me. I'd like to find a 1995 D DDO at some point.
Me to can't say how many cents I've looked through without one just like the wams and cams haven't found one.
