    Here's a section that will interest some of you.It is about British Commonwealth countries who have had coins that depict any of the Popes of Rome.

    I can think of these ones so far;

    Western Samoa 1970 1 Tala.

    Uganda 1969-70 issue.

    Dominica 1979 silver $20 & gold $300 Proofs.

    Can anyone else think of any others?

    Aidan.

    I have found out that Lesotho issued a coin to commemorate the visit of Pope John Paul II of Rome to Lesotho.I'm not sure what denomination depicted this Pope of Rome,but I can guess that it is a 10 Maloti.
