I know this is an Amisos, Pontus. 85-65 BC. AE Head of youthful Dionysos right, wreathedwith ivy / AMISOU, thyrsus staff,Monogram to left. I just can't find an example of this obverse. I have been working on identifying a collection that has three examples of this coin. I have checked Wildwinds and the Sear book, with no luck. Has anyone seen this?

The coin you reference has a "winged Harpa" (hooked sword) reverse. I have seen it before and it is similar, but still no cigar.
    Thanks though.

Well, I tried. I looked through all my references with no luck. Maybe one of the experts will chime in soon.

By the way, what do you suppose they mean by a fillet on this coin?

Thanks, but now I feel lazy for not looking up myself.
