Hey everyone my name is Bruce and my friends grandpa came across this coin some time ago and has kept onto it and asked me to find out more about it and the value of it. From what I gather its and old roman coin and he said he has had it tested before and its real silver. If anyone could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to say, but its a fake of a denarius of emperor Tiberius. Its A.K.A. the "tribute penny" due to bible mentions. That makes it heavily faked.
