I suspect you are correct. From a cost of production stand-point the Cent should disappear. Based on usage by the general population I'd say the Half Dollar would come in first.

I don't think they should get rid of any but I think they should reduce the size of all except the dime.

    I chose the "dollar"

The "real" dolllars like the Morgan etc. are already gone, and these tokens they now call dollars are not accepted. They, the Fed. Government will not remove the paper dollar from circulation, so it's only logical that the metal dollar should bite the dust!

Heck I think they should even mint a $5 dollar coin. My wife is always raiding the cash out of my wallet buy she leaves my coins alone. ;)

well the half dollar is most reasonable but i went with the dime, 2 nickels will make u a dime and I like collecting those halves

They should eliminate the paper dollar bill that lasts only 16 months in circulation and cost over $500 million to produce and replace it with a dollar coin with a obverse like this:

I voted to get rid of the half dollar. Not that I don't like it, but it does not get used. I can not even remember the last time I got one in change, although I spend them often myself. The vending machines at work won't accept them either. The paper dollar should exit as well. If that would happen, perhaps both the halves and dollar coins would gain acceptance and usage.

Forgot to mention, I think that is quite an attractive coin you linked to Midas! I have long felt a return of Liberty would enhance the eye appeal over the current boring designs common on our coinage. The eagle is very nicely done as well.

The Halves and Sac Dollars have already been pulled from circulation. The mint only issues theses coins to collectors. I think these wil be first to go. (I'm hoping)
