I ran across this coin among a group from the junk bucket. All my research indicates that Polish coins are all some type of metal. This one is an exact copy of a 20 Groszy coin, but its plastic. Its dated 2000 about 18.5 mm in diameter, weighs 0.4 grams, has a bronze color, and is pictured below. Does anyone know if Poland made any plastic coins in 2000? I suppose it could be play money. The obverse has the eagle within a flat circle as a background and the date/country in a ring outside the circle. The orientation is 90 degrees obverse to reverse. Anyone have any thoughts? thanks for taking a look, Bill
