    Would be a really odd shape for a gun anyway. :rolleyes:

    Basically I like the design. The problem I have with it is the different "shades of gold" in the center. On a medal that could be achieved, but with a €2 circulation coin (or circulating commem) that effect will be difficult if not impossible to visualize on a minted piece.

    Hmm, I'm not into weapons or shooting but the "bent" upper did not look like that of a rifle to me. Besides, the name next to the portrait also suggests that what this person is holding is not a gun. But I still think that the many "shades" of the design would not really be visible on such a coin ...
