I have always wanted to have a $5 gold piece (probably worn out) just to pull out with the rest of my change just to see the reactions of different people when I am paying for something!

I carry around a cleaned 1939 Walker Half in my change. It makes for a good conversation piece with people.

i like to walk around with ben franklin half dollars because all of the older folks reconize them. it is also a good conversation starter. i always afraid a will lose it though. i haven't carried coins around in a while. my coin dealer has this necklace with a coin in it. he said you can take the coin out and put watever you want in. i asked how much they were and he said around $500! i didn't expect that! the reason they are so expensive because they have a gold chain and i think come with a gold coin. that's a little above by budget though.

  16. I keep a 1921 Morgan in my fifth pocket. The only time I don't carry it is when I am forced to wear slacks.:D It falls out too easy.

1924 Peace Dollar. Some people think it is a "fake" coin when they see it, then I let them hold it.
