Uncleaned lots are really iffy, but sometimes you get something good. In my case, I had a batch of 48 coins from Spain that were, for the most part, actually uncleaned. It was obvious that some where worked on, but some apparently slipped through the cracks. One of them is this really neat AE quadrans of Claudius. It features a really strange, spindly looking pair of hands holding scales with "PNR" below and between the scales. Apparently, the meaning of PNR is rather unclear. I actually got a second PNR quadrans, but I'm still working on it. 14x12mm, 2.7g. RIC 85

Got me thinking. For a coin series that advertises its weight purity, my example is an awful size and shape!
