Accurate if internet auctions are a definitive indicator, as PCGS and NGC graded coins seem to bring a higher premium than the others. Thanks interesting, now if someone would do a customer satifaction survey.

Very good info. The part that I found most interesting is that no one wanted to assign an "outstanding" rating to any aspect of these grading companies. Hummmm.......

None of the grading companies are perfect. They're all guilty of being less than consistent in their grading and somewhat capricious, and with all of them grading standards have eroded over time, creating incentives for people to crack coins out of older holders and spend more money having them regraded.

But this is a far cry from lumping all of the grading services together, as some have done. There are very significant and important differeneces between, say, a PCGS and an ACG, as anyone who has actually looked at coins -- including these PCGS and ICTA dealers -- can attest.

Good reads. Now what I'd like to see is one of the periodicals (ahem..... Coin World) do a public poll or one of the other major organizations with a larger member base (ahem .... ANA) do a poll.
