PMD or..?

    At 1st I thought it might of spent time in a dryer. Because the 5 is low in 1945, the IB in LIBERTY is messed up, and look at In God we Trust.

    The lines make me think dryer.

    But look at TRU in Trust. It's fine, if this was in a dryer, the wear would be even.

    Look at the back. the PL is low, and so is the O in ONE.

    Major greased filled die? PMD? You tell me.

    No, IMO, not major grease fill. It seems to simply be a worn coin. Look at the circular lines around the edge, just inside. Those, I believe, are indications of coin counting machines and/or rolling/crimping machines. The problems with the lettering of the motto, I also would attribute to a crimping machine or something like that. Very common to be uneven.

    Yep - PMD from a coin roller/counter. For some reason the wear on the O in One seems to be pretty common.
