PMD or damaged planchet?

I posted this one once before, in a thread showing several odd coins I've found. I assumed it was just PMD, but several people, a few here and a few in person, have said they think it might NOT be.

I am looking for more opinions and info. here are my pics.

It was pointed out to me that the edges of the damage are very sharply defined, which makes it look like the striking happened after the damage. The reeding was also pointed out as indicative of it being struck after the damage, rather than before.

Any other opinions? And if it IS a damaged planchet, rather than PMD, would this carry any premium for error collectors?

The fact that it is on both sides and in two places makes me suspect PMD

I don't see how that can be anything outside of PMD.

PMD. The areas have the reeding but extend out beyond the circular shape of the coin

    Definitely PMD.
