PMD on the 9?

    Damage to the 1 and the 9. Not sure if it's a PMD or a die thing.:confused: Let's wait for more ideas.;) I think I got it one way or another. I hope.:nailbiting:

    Definitely PMD.

    People save damaged coins for a myriad of reasons…

    this one appears to be in the AU53 Red Brown neighborhood and that’s being generous…too much wear on the hair, ear and jaw…but then: the damaged date. And no telling what the reverse looks like…imo…Spark

    Hey Kristine,
    Here is one that only affected one number. This happened after it left the mint, Bag mark, PMD etc.

    PMD for sure. Looks like the 9 got the worst of it but the 1 also caught a little of the hit that caused this.
