PMD Cracked Skull

This one caught my eye. At first I thought it might be a cracked skull, but after looking at the close up pictures I took it just looks like a gouge. But since I went to all the work to take them, I thought I'd share them.

Looks like a lamination to me. Cool coin!!

 

I also say Lamination Error. Not Damage

On first glance, PMD, but the close up looks like lamination.

 

From the close-up, I was going to say die crack, but I defer to the lamination gurus.
