Yesterday I made my first ever reports on eBay for fake coins. I was scrolling through Franklin half listings and these two coins stood out like sore thumbs. I messaged the seller telling them the two coins are fake and have been reported to eBay. They responded saying my “actions and assumptions are w/o merit.” I have been avidly collecting Franklin halves for nearly 15 years and have viewed probably well over 100,000 Franklin half dollars so I know intimately what every detail of the coin should look like.
