I got two 1935 pennies today. How would you grade them. I will tell you how much I paid for then later.

Only a guess but from the pics I would say the first one is MS 63 RD
and the second is MS 64 RD...........

I can't even begin to pretend to grade those. I don't know much about this stuff yet. But I do know that those are pretty! LOL Better than any that I have but the only ones I have I got from circulation at work. I do have 48 of them (several duplicates) though. I think that's good from circ for only 2 months of collecting though. LOL

I don't know enough about coins yet to go out and buy them. I wouldn't know what I was doing.

I'd say they both would go 64. The second one though looks to be a strike through error.

Thanks Doug, Your opinion means alot. The second one looks like the out line of Lincoln but wasn't sure. I will try and get better pictures later. Cheryl

Nice coins. I particularly like that 2nd one. That is easily a 64 and would not surprise me if it were a 65. The first I would only give a 63.

The big hole right in the middle of his head. Kinda looks like a dinosaur footprint.

    Like I said, I'm betting it's a strike through.

It's the second coin I am talking about. This is a good example of how deceiving pics can be. In the second pic, it just looks like a brown spot. In the first pic it looks like a hole.

Is there a depression where that brown spot is ?

Yes. right where we are looking. cheryl

Well, if there is a depression there then maybe I am correct.

What did you do? Get a roll of them. That looks like another 64/65. At least on my computer, I do not see any dinosaurs on this one.
