This came in a lot of uncleaned Roman coins and the otherside of this coin has been worn flat. Include is a picture that is somewhat blurry. Thanks to everyone for their input and information.
Looks like at some point in that coin's history some one carved it like a hobo nickel. That design looks carved, not struck or cast, and the design isn't anything found on any ancient coins that I know of. As always, I could be wrong

Thank you for the info , I think your right . It does seem quite old and somebody else mentioned that it might be a gaming piece of some type?
