Roman Empire, Constantine I (alias Constantine the Great), AD 307- 337 (this type dates from the earlier part of his reign). Denomination is follis. Reverse is "Genio Imperatoris" and shows figure of Genius standing. Mintmark is Alexandria, Egypt. Someone who specializes in Late Roman Bronze can offer an opinion on rarity and value, but my impression is it's not a particularly scarce type (of course, I could be wrong.) Hope this helps.

They're not rare, but a little less frequent than the coins with GENIO POPVULI ROMANI inscription. Alexandria issues in EF sell for around $100. This coin looks harshly cleaned, or otherwise somehow abraded. Perhaps because some of the surfaces are sticking to the plastic? Can you remove it from the flip and take another pic? I would expect to pay around $25 for this coin.

Yeah, nice looking coin - I like it. I'd definitely pay in the $30-$40 range.

Definitely looks better out of the folder and JA seems to have nailed the value. This coin has character, most importantly, it is well centered with all letters of the legends.

Thanks everyone!!! Would still like to get some opinions on grade. Also how can I remove dirt or should I just leave it alone

I would not try to clean it unless you are an expert in ancient cleaning. I don't think the dirt on it detracts from the coin.

Grading ancients is not at all like grading US.

Most people value ancient coins based on their "eye appeal" and not so much on the "grade". Ancients vary so much that grading them is less precise. Many dealers just include a photo and don't assign a grade.
