I have now a coin that I am going to submit to the PCGS for a free grading. the problem is after shipping I will have $13 bucks in a coin that I am hoping for a PR70 but might only get 69. It is a 2005 Buffalo/Bison nickel. Any suggestions? Also, it is in a mylar thing but the PCGS wants it in a coin flip. how can I do that without scratching it and how could I ship it lose in a coin flip?

Forgive me but isn't the mylar thingy a flip? I'd leave the coin where it's at and just submit it to the folks at PCGS in this fashion. I'd tape that "flip" between two pieces of thin cardboard (probably get some flak for that) and enclose it in a small box filled with those little packaging peanuts.

One thing though....I've never submitted a coin to a TPG'er so I may be totally wrong. The purpose of my response is to try and get more folks to respond to your question...;)

One more thing Hull.....are ya fellin' lucky?
