I found this in a river bank in Vietnam and think that it's quite rare, perhaps in Vietnam only. please tell me if there are lot of them in US?

looks fake with that big rim????

 

Your link is very slow to load. It was the same way with the other photos from another thread, too. Any time I try to open a page and it takes longer than 15 seconds, I cancel it.

even if it is a cast copy there are a few people who collect them, for educational purposes, (I am not one of them BTW). I do not know what prices people get for them, but they do trade, just make sure to mention that it is a cast copy.

I knew it was a fake before I even opened the links to see the coin. He said he found it, Vietnam. lol

 

I know it's hard for people to hear bad news that something they is valuable, and if it were real it would hold a small amount of value, is a worthless fake.

The sad thing is that even if it were REAL, in that condition it would only sell for melt or about $15.

 

I agree it looks fake but wonder what a Morgan would look like after being in a river for many years?

 

It wouldn't have a oversized rim like this one does.
