Please help me with my rare panny

    Anybody know about it? Its 1981 one penny with a WA (state) logo stamp on it please help me. Cant find any info anywere about it

    It is a counterstamped coin. During the 1970s and 1980s people would stamp coins with the name of a state or some other design. It is technically damage and not an error.

    Your coin did not come from the mint like that, it has been damaged.
