I suppose that you have an old coin but it was counterstamped not very much time ago. I think it is not expensive item.
Hey Oz, Yes, on the back you can clearly tell that the "ONE PENNY" is a double strike. Very crude I might add, but I looked on the website listed above and it said that those coins were known for their crudeness by the manufacturer/minter. Scroll over the picture of the REV and you will see the clearly marked double lines imprinted on the "One Penny".
