I came across Canadian nickel I am curious about. Will post picks and describe what I think I see.
1- right of center of neck I see a 7. From point of 7 midway to o I see a 2. Between forehead and center of D and G I see an A. Some lettering under bust to left.
Photo 2-appears to be numbers under date-this photo is terrible.
Photo 3-lettering and numbers all around top of beaver mostly at rear.
Wondering if it was possible this was struck over different coin and if so if it would have any value and taking to coin shop for clearer photos and better magnification. Or if maybe I'm just seeing things.

I am seeing some of what you are seeing. If you hadn't told me what you see I probably would not have. There's lots of damage on the coin and I'm afraid it is making things appear to be there. It's called paredolia.

Yeah my images suck I am going to go to a dealer tomorrow so I can get a good look. But I can say from what I see I am 99 percent sure this is struck on something. No idea what, apparently the Canadian mint has struck coins for 70 some other country's as well as tokens.

The fourth pic you can't see the E on her neck followed by two other letters or the letters obove her head or the letters between the letters of Canada. I have to literaly be losing my mind.

Or the perfect 7 under her chin

That is far from being a perfect 7. It's a hit that resembles a 7.

I think I see what you are talking about. I would say it is just random hits. With that many scratches, dings etc. some of them are bound to resemble something. There may be some small die chips in there somewhere as well, but it is really just a beat coin.
