I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me identify these well worn coins. I think they are Canadian or British but am not sure. Picture 1 and 2 are the same coin (front and back). Picture 3 and 4 are the same coin (front and back). Any value to them other than the copper? -thanks so much

    1 - Great Britain, penny 1862
    2. Great Britain halfpenny, from the shape of the head it is George III(1760-1820) looks a lot like a contemporary counterfeit from the 18th century.

    doug444 STAMPS and POSTCARDS too!

#1 and #2 clearly show an 186x English penny with Victoria on the reverse.

Very little to no value for either of these, right?

Yes - very little value to these. 1862 is a relatively common date even in good condition. In the UK would be in a box marked "10p each". Same also with the George III halfpenny - too worn to be interesting, even if it is an evasion.

In the USA though they end up in the 25c box, I have bought many a GIII copper that way. My best is a 1697 WIII 1/2er that I bought for a quarter.
