Found something a bit odd. No clue what it is. A die crack, perhaps?

It is on a 1974d kennedy half dollar, the "O" in "united states of america" on the reverse.

It is definitely a solid part of the coin. raised. metal.

Please let me know what you think?

    Woo-hoo! Thanks guys :p

I know it's just a tiny one, but it is the first die-crack I have found, so I'm happy with it :) Not big enough for a premium, unless I put it on ebay, I'm sure, but still... my first find of any error/variety/etc. is always very exciting to me :) I loupe most of the coins I go through, and it is nice to be vindicated like this for the 5-10x extra time I spend searching :p

Small die crack with a tiny cud at the end closest to the S.

Since it is on the reverse, I would say it is a retained cud.
