You might get a platinum or you might not...its a lot of unsearched slabs...yeah right...they just put the photo of that coin to get bids...

No, those are "unsearched lots." You will get a coin worth $20 or less. The only "Unsearched lot" I ever bought on ebay had a counterfeit trade dollar in it.

Its a gamble. You have a 1 in 320 chance of getting that coin. Probably 300 of those slabs are worth only a buck or two.

At a price of $1000.00 OZ for Platinum...it is unlikely that you could get a 1/10th oz at $20.00. :loud: The going $ is around 125-130.00 per /10th oz..
Be wary my friend.. be wary!!

Who was it that said, "If it's too good to be true etc." or "you get what you pay for".

I dislike random chance deals... I have bought coins where you get a randomly picked coin out of a lot, but that was only when the entire lot was one type of coin, such as a randomly selected walking liberty half dollar, standing liberty quarter, etc. What I got were decent coins for the price.

Can you get a platinum 1/10 eagle for $20? Sure it's possible in these type of random chance lots. It's also possible I can win a million dollars if I buy a $1 lottery ticket. Odds just aren't that good...

I also wouldn't buy form random chance lots unless the seller had a good reputation, and has received feedback where enough sellers actually say they've received something good out of the lots.
