Never seen damage like this before, and I know that 18th century coppers (esp. locally-minted Conder tokens from this series) are notorious for poor planchets. Any ideas?

    Flaw IMO
    Almost like a Delamination.

It is a merchant's token, so flaw or not, I doubt it has an "error" standing.

A small planchet flaw. Privately produced as a trade token.
