Planchet error? 1952 Reverse

    Hi All,

    I'm looking at this and, at first, I thought that it was post mint damage but I'm seeing what looks like holes in the planchet. Have any of you seen something like this before?

    It could be some sort of glue or adhesive. Why don't you try to remove it by soaking it in some pure acetone.
