You know, he could probably sell that for good money on ebay, all he has to say is...It looks real to me. someone would jump on it.

That should be sent to the USMint as a suggestion. At my age that looked good.

 

I hate to say this, but I have seen more obvious counterfeits come through at work (They didn't get slabbed of course). Although as far as fake mintmarks, this one hands down takes the cake:goofer:

OH NO it's a fake. I was really hoping it was a senior citizens weak eye coin. Now if this could be done on a Dime I would really be happy.

The same gent with nothing better to do also got ahold of my coin. Maybe we could put together a large mint mark, Lincoln set. Ha. Let me know when you send in to SGS and I'll send mine also. I believe they will put mine in a MS60 holder. LOL. Just jokeing ofcourse.

 

The reverse is normal. Is a .... No, was a nice VDB. One of a kind, Supersized mintmark, Sounds like a great Ebay item! LOL.. I put it in a 2x2 next to my ten of a kind Lincolns with Kennedy looking at him.. Or maybe the Masonic emblem one.. Hmmmm.. decisions decisions.. I know.. Has to be next to Lincoln smokin a pipe..
